Check out this very nice BRONZE AGE MARVEL page, which has pencil breakdowns by the late great Herb Trimpe, and FINISHED pencils and FULL INKS by the great Barry Windsor-Smith, from the FIRST ISSUE story titled: "He Lives Again!" A fantastic action scene here from this critically-acclaimed mini-series! After taking off several years from comic books to focus on fine art, beloved Conan the Barbarian artist Barry Windsor-Smith returned to Marvel in 1984 to work on a four-issue mini-series revival of Jack Kirby's Machine Man. Windsor-Smith provided memorable covers and finishes for the first three issues and complete art for the final issue. Offered here is a page from issue #1 over Herb Trimpe's breakdowns. It features Machine Man and the Midnight Wreckers in the year 2020 (which in 1984 was still the distant future as opposed to nowadays, as We see Machine Man battling a robot known as a C-28. The page is a nice example of the evolved style Windsor-Smith brought to comic books following his fine art period, one that would serve him well in later years working on the Origin of Wolverine saga "Weapon X" and as a founder of the Valiant Universe. BRONZE AGE Barry Smith Super hero pages are getting increasingly hard to find, so don't miss out on a great opportunity here to own a nice 1984 GEM Marvel BARRY SMITH and HERB TRIMPE superhero battle page that was signed by Herb Trimpe and writer Tom Defalco! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website!
