Check out this INCREDIBLY DETAILED 1979 BRONZE AGE MARVEL cover, which was buried in a collection ever since it was bought directly from Keith Pollard in 1989! This great cover was penciled by the great Keith Pollard, and inked by the ICONIC JOE SINNOTT, from the story titled: "The Deadly Designs of -- Doctor Faustus!" This AWESOME cover features a HUGE full body image of Captain America, and a Full image of the statue Of Liberty, with a diabolically detailed image of the evil Dr. Faustus! there is a giant Zeppelin in the sky behind our hero, and the FULL Zeppelin image is drawn all the way to the top of the art board under the logo also! The torch on the Statue of Liberty is fully drawn on the art board, and the editors decided they wanted the flame of the torch to be shown above the logo area so a stat of the drawn torch was placed over the same size image drawn torch so it could be shown into the logo area. Keith Pollard drew very few covers for Marvel Comics in the 1970's and he is considered by many to be one of the most under rated artists of the 1970's for Marvel, and with Joe Sinnott lush inking, this cover is truly a WORK OF ART TO BEHOLD IN PERSON! The detail on this cover is absolutely STUNNING! Compare this great Keith Pollard cover to the published comic book in red link above! Bronze Age 1970's Marvel Super Hero covers are getting increasingly hard to find, so don't miss out on a great opportunity here to own this stunning Bronze Age 1979 Captain America cover!
