Dick Ayers and John Severin combined forces on this EPIC 1971 Incredible Hulk #144 page featuring the Hulk in battle with none other than Doctor Doom! With both "A-List" characters battling it out in several panels, this is a prime example of an early Bronze Age Hulk battle page, as the Hulk literally SUCKS THE LIFE FROM Dr. DOOM! Panel 5 was cut out and moved lower to make room for the word balloons. It's all 100% drawn art. The Hulk was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and first appeared in 1962's Incredible Hulk #1. With his popular appearances in the 3 Avengers movies and Thor: Ragnarok, the Hulk is riding a new wave of popularity among the general public. Doctor Doom is one of the greatest villains of the Marvel Universe.
