Check out this VERY HISTORIC Barry Windsor-Smith penciled AND INKED finale page from 1971's Vampirella #9 featuring the horror tale, "The Boy Who Loved Trees". It comes from early in the Vampirella run when she was still playing horror host ONLY as opposed to starring in her own stories like she would later. This page features the gruesome images of three boys hung from trees. It ends with a very sexy image of Vampirella closing the tale in traditional horror host style. This is the first and ONLY TIME Barry Smith ever Drew VAMPIRELLA in her own original title! The last stunning Vampirella panel is all drawn art which was taped onto the page by Barry Smith. Just a great end horror page showing the gruesome deaths of the 3 evil boys. Barry Windsor-Smith is one of the most respected and heavily collected artists to ever work in the field of comic books. This art is drawn quite large, with an actual drawn image area of 14 by 20 inches on a larger art board with great use of Zipatone for a stunning effect. Barry Smith pages are VERY hard to find in the hobby these days, so don't miss out on a great opportunity here to own a VERY 1971 gem right here! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out. $3,500.00
