Large Unpublished Savage Sword Of Conan Pinup (SUPERB DETAIL!) 1975

Check out this STUNNING 1975 Conan Pinup which was penciled and inked by the great Paul Gulacy very early in his illustrious career! This Pinup features a nice large image of Conan holding a spear in his right hand, while he tries to calm his large black stallion! The collector I got this stunning piece form said The Gulacy piece was bought DIRECTLY from Paul Gulacy not long after he turned pro in 1975 when he attended the Buffalo Con as a guest with Craig Russell, Jim Starlin and Dan Adkins. He was told this very large piece was to be a Savage Sword Of Conan inside front cover, but it was ultimately not used. This does not distract from the fact that this is quite an amazing SUPER DETAILED piece and probably the FIRST fully finished CONAN pinup drawn by the great Paul Gulacy! Art is drawn on a very large 13.75.by 19.5 inch art board, and is signed at the bottom in Gulacy's earlier 1970's style! Just a great piece here! STUNNING!
