Check out this very nice 1985 Longshot page which was penciled by the great Arthur Adams, and inked by the great Whilce Portacio, from the story titled: "Just Let Me Die!" In the story this page is from, Theo tells Longshot his everyday woes including the fact that Con Edison rips him off in charging excessive amounts for electrical power; The naive Longshot decides to break into Con Ed and steal a cache of diamonds to pay Theo his money back; The pair make it into the power plant and the wires and machinery spark a few of Longshot's memories about his home world; They get the diamonds but are attacked by Spiral, Gog and their allies who are after the same thing; During the ensuing battle, machinery gets destroyed and blacks out all of New York City; Spiral uses some of the diamonds to open a portal back to her home world and the demons disappear; Magog is left behind and finally reveals himself to be Longshot's enemy, fully intent on killing him; Realizing that his humdrum life is better than all of this adventure, Jinx returns home, leaving Longshot alone once again! A great opportunity to own a nice 1985 Art Adams Longshot page with Longshot in ALL 6 PANELS!
