Marvel Team-Up #41 Cover (1975

Check out this very nice 1975 Spider-Man cover which was penciled by the great Gil Kane, and inked by the equally great Dan Adkins, from the story titled: "And Some Shall Call Him-- Witchslayer!" This nice cover features Spider-Man being blasted by The Scarlet Witch who is under the spell of the evil Witchslayer [Cotton Mather]! The spider-Man image was moved 1/4 inch north and a stat was placed over top of the drawn artwork, and there are various whiteout touch ups on the cover, which was very common on 1970's marvel covers. Compare this nice cover art to the published comic book in the red link above!
